Wilton von Werdenberg is a handsome 4 year old German Shepherd. He has a big bone structure and a very solid build. Although his past was not always a happy one, Wilton is one of the most cheerful dogs you will ever know with the most loving heart and a very kind soul. He thoroughly enjoys any attention he gets and the volunteers have nicknamed him "the kissing bandit" because his kisses are amazing and he gives them freely. He walks great on leash, staying right by your side and stopping and starting when you do. And don't let his grey whiskers fool you. When given the opportunity, Wilton will play on the grass and try to climb in your lap like a pup. Wilton loves to cuddle with his humans and gets along well with other dogs (but not so with cats.) Even boisterous alpha females don't ruffle his fur - he just gives them the time and space they need. He is most likely housebroken, judging by his bathroom habits, and he'll politely give you his paw when he wants a tummy rub. Wilton would be a great addition to any family and a wonderful first-timer for anyone who hasn't yet discovered the pleasure of owning a German Shepherd.
